Copycats Depress Me! Question: Did Mach Speed Clone HTC P3300?

When did this happen? Who is Mach Speed Technologies? Apparently, these guys were known in the electronic industry as an American owned motherboard supplier. I don't know how they did it, but they managed to pop out a cool portable media player, which they named Oasis...such an exotic name.

The only issue is that some bad people out there dare to say it looks exactly like the HTC P3300 cell phone. Well, I am not telling you anything, you have your own eyes. Original design pattern doesn't seem to matter anymore, anyway.

This doesn't look bad at all; in fact, I know some Chinese big fish that are going to get green with envy when seeing this. The good news is they tried to use some decent materials for this.

The media player reveals a generous 2GB flash memory, which can be boosted anytime via the integrated mini-SD card slot.

As for its capabilities, they are the way I've expected, meaning it can deal with most of the file formats available on the market, such as wav, mp3, wma, asf, wmv, avi, mov, amv, mpg1, rm, vob and swf, some of them even newer. Besides that, it was also packed with charming extra options such as an FM radio, a built-in mike and a trendy text reader.

Regarding the text reader, you won't have to squint to see what you're listening to, or search for a light source at night, as it sports a generous 2 inch TFT LCD screen display.

And yes, it also supports photo browsing and movie playback, using the AMV movie viewer. So, there is not much stuff this fellow cannot do.

If you're interested in trading your portable media player with this one, you should know that you can purchase the Mach Speed Oasis portable media player online, for only 60 bucks a pop. Nice deal, I'd say! And if they make those in yellows or milky white, I'd personally give them a try!
