If you’re looking for an easy way to copy text, links, or images from your Mac to your iDevice without using the Internet, Hippo Foundry Inc. has released a cool app that does just that.

Priced at $2.99 / €2.69, Scribe works with OS X Mavericks computers and allegedly “lets you copy anything from your Mac to your mobile device, without Wi-Fi.”

That’s not entirely true, as you cannot copy apps or music, but it does work with text, links, numbers and small images. All you do is pair the devices over Bluetooth and press “COMMAND + SHIFT + X” to instantly transfer your selection from your Mac to your iOS Device.

Note that your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch needs to use Bluetooth 4.0 (or Bluetooth LE) to support the feature. The same goes for your Mac. A full list of supported devices can be found in the app’s description on the Mac App Store below. Download Scribe from the supplied link and give it a go.
