Built for a maximum heat conductivity and with a hydro-dynamic bearing fan, the latest CPU cooler from Coolink aims to balance both excellent cooling with a low noise output. Known as the Corator DS, the cooling module is based on the company's exclusive GDC technology. This technology uses an all-copper, gapless contact area, for a superior heat transfer, and spreads the thermal compound for even better cooling when used with high-end processors or in overclocked setups.

"True to our vision of innovating instead of following, we worked hard to strengthen the advantages of direct contact cooling and to eliminate its drawbacks," Timothy Chu, Coolink CEO, explains. "Thus we're proud to introduce the Corator DS today, which is our first product based on Coolink's exclusive GDT-technology. Its innovative contact surface in combination with the other features allows us to offer a complete high-performance cooling solution at an attractive price point."

The cooling mechanism employs a fan from the award-winning SWiF2 series. This fan uses the high-performance hydro-dynamic bearing and an 11-blade impeller design. The excellent airflow is coupled with the over 7500cm² of cooling area provided by the two asymmetrical stacks of 70 aluminum fins, allowing for an optimal heat dissipation. Heat is led from the processor to those very fins by four 8mm copper heatpipes, which make direct contact with the chip, for an increased conductivity. In addition, the SWiF2-120P fan supports PWM, allowing the mainboard to control the rotary speed according to the CPU temperature.

The Coolink Corator DS CPU Cooler comes with the special SecuFirm mounting system and will work with the Intel LGA775, LGA1156 and LGA1366 processors, as well as the AMD AM2, AM2+ and AM3 socket chips. The fan's rotary speed ranges between 800 and 1700 RPM and its maximum noise output is of 27.1 dBA.

Already available, the Corator DS has a price tag of USD59.90 / 49.90 Euro. Information is available on the official product page.
