Cooler Master is pulling out all the guns and making all the stops in its quest to keep expanding its product portfolio, in this case introducing a certain PC case for those who think that silence is golden.

People keeping track of things on the IT market will have probably noticed something over the past couple of weeks.

Apparently, November, 2011 (next month) is shaping up to be quite the busy period, what with so many items set to appear at some point or another.

Cooler Master is on the list of companies planning something like this, having designed the Silencio 450, according to this little report.

This item is, in essence, a mid-tower PC enclosure which places special emphasis on the aspect of low noise generation.

Then again, it would be more accurate to say that it focuses on noise isolation, since it can't actually control how noisy the hardware inside is.

While the front and back fans of 120mm are of the low-noise variety, the real boon is the sound-proof foam on both side panels.

As for everything else, the mid-tower has three exposed 5.25-inch ODD (optical disk drive) bays, as well as five internal 3.5-inch bays, for HDDs/SSDs.

Micro ATX and ATX motherboard can be placed on the inside of the chassis, along with liquid cooling systems, thanks to the two pre-drilled holes at the back.

Furthermore, the all-black chassis boasts an SD card reader, audio ports, an USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.0 connector on the front I/O panel.

All in all, Cooler Master's Silencio 450 mid-tower measures 194 x 451.45 x 494.75 mm (7.63 x 17.77 x 19.47 inches) and weighs 6.2 kilograms.

The price will be of 54.95 Euro, or $75.87 according to exchange rates. Whether the US pricing actually does abide by this is still unclear.
