It is made of steel and supports micro ATX and ATX motherboards

Cooler Master's latest Elite series case is one that does not exactly do its best to stand apart from its siblings, probably looking to be as affordable as possible while still deserving the “Elite” moniker. The case that Cooler Master is now shipping bears a price of 39.90 Euro, which translates into 53.35 dollars, according to exchange rates.

The price is definitely not all that small, but it isn't that high either, which means this is a mainstream or upper-mid range item.

It measures 192.5 x 427 x 498.3 mm, or 7.57 x 16.81 x 19.61 inches, and has a weight of 4.6 kilograms (10.14 pounds).

In addition to the size capable of fitting ATX and micro-ATX motherboards, the weight is owed to the steel structure.

There are six 3.5-inch bays on the inside of the Elite 372, all of which have tool-free mounting, for user convenience.

Also, there is a total of three 5.25-inch external bays, for optical disk drives, fan controllers, drive cages or anything else that fits them.

Furthermore, the I/O panel set at the front has a pair of USB 2.0 ports, an audio output and a microphone jack.

Alas, there are two features that Cooler Master's case could have used in order to live up to its “Elite” name.

The less relevant one is all-black coating: the product is not painted on the inside, but that does not matter overmuch for something that lacks a side window.

The real disadvantage is the distinct lack of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 support on the front I/O panel. With most every case offering such ports nowadays, Cooler Master really dropped the ball on this one.

On the bright side, there are seven PCI expansion slots at the back, so video cards, at the very least, can be installed in multi-GPU setups, if owners have money for high-tier system configurations.
