When it comes to mice, even having a sensor sensitivity of 2,000 DPI is normally enough to qualify a product as a gaming mouse, tentatively anyway.

Because of that, there can be no doubt that the CM Storm Mizar is one of the better gaming peripherals out there, even though its shape is nothing to gape at.

Not that Cooler Master often releases cases, coolers and peripherals that are below a certain level. Although in this case you kind of have to look past the name, since Mizar can look a lot like Miser if you're in any way distracted.

Besides the classic sculpted design, the new mouse boasts an 8,200 DPI adjustable Avago 9800 laser sensor, reinforced rubber pads on the sides, and a weight of around 121 grams / 4.26 ounces.

Moving on, there's a user-adjustable multi-color LED CM Storm logo.

Finally, the seven buttons are all fully programmable, so that you can assign macros, set profiles, adjust DPI settings and configure them to assign other buttons apparently.

Alas, Cooler Master didn't specify the price of the CM Storm Mizar in its press release, even though the peripheral is supposedly shipping to retailers already, at least in North America.
