Almost all computer enthusiasts have heard of the Cooler Master brand, as it is well known for offering high performance products including cooling solutions, memory and PC power supplies. All products coming from this company have been used in some of the most powerful gaming and high-end desktop systems worldwide. This only makes its newest power supply offer all the more
interesting.

Cooler Master has released today its latest Silent Pro Series power supply, which brings forward a well developed product featuring a superior thermal solution, a highly efficient circuit design and value-added accessories. The Silent Pro Series, as the name also implies, has been developed to provide a new standard in silent computing with the help of its "silent formula" design which sets the noise level at less than 16 dBA.

The highly efficient circuit design aims to reduce the overall heat generated by the power supply, while at the same time cutting down on the power lost during the energy conversion process. Practically, Cooler Master claims that its new product can deliver a power efficiency level of 85% or even more, which should be considered a pretty good ratio for any high-end desktop computer. To make the users even more convinced of the product's capability in terms of energy efficiency, the Silent Pro Series power supplies come with 80 Plus certification and meet Energy Star, Blue Anger and RoHS requirements.

Another significant feature of the Silent Pro Series is its thermal solution, which draws heat away from hot areas of the PCB to a series of copper plates that conduct heat almost twice as well as traditional aluminum. The heat is then transferred to a series of aluminum heat sinks that can dissipate it with maximum efficiency thanks to a fin design. After this, the heat is blown away by a large 135mm fan that can deliver 1.5 times better airflow than traditional 120mm solutions.

No word yet on pricing and availability, but interested users should check out the manufacturer's official website for further details.
