One of the most anticipated releases of the year is “J. Edgar,” from director Clint Eastwood, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer as the leads. The first posters for it have just been released.

The film, clearly a biopic of the famous FBI director, will also aim to take a look behind the curtain and show who he was as a man.

For years, there’ve been rumors that he was keeping his associate and protégé Clyde Tolson as a lover, and that he was also a huge fan of cross-dressing, which probably the film will address.

For the time being though, the posters focus only on the political side of the film: one of them shows Leo in character, in very convincing old-age makeup, in the middle of a speech.

The other is a red and blue stylized version of the same, hinting at patriotism and the things Hoover did in the name of it.

Both make it clear that this is one serious movie, one that you wouldn’t want to miss once it’s out in theaters this November.
