The Kaito mp3 radio recorder is the perfect combination between a radio recorder and an mp3 player in a single device that fits great in your pocket.

The mp3 part of the device is removable and allows the user to record AM, FM, and shortwave radio broadcasts for future playback as digital files. The MP3 part can be easily programmed to record a radio station at a specific time. As for the player storage capacity, it's a pretty decent one, it has 256 MB of internal memory, which the manufacturers said it should be enough for 10 hours of recording. Moreover, it comes with software that allows you to download music from a computer to the MP3 player itself.

The best part is that the system offers more functions into one, as the MP3 player can be easily removed from the radio for remote use and can be used as a voice recorder that stores up to 15 hours of conversations, funny memos from friends, or grocery lists.

Apart from all these features, the integrated radio has single-sideband modulation for transmitting two-way marine, aviation, and Ham radio broadcasts, and the device can access international radio stations through digital AM/FM and digital shortwave, meaning you'll have free access to any sort of radio program you may want to listen to, not to mention all the foreign DJs you get to listen from your own kitchen.

According to Hammecher Schlemmer, the radio comes with more than 400 presets, a digital clock with three alarms, and a built-in digital NOAA weather band that can access all seven National Weather Service stations anywhere in the U.S. What more could you want?

Not to mention it includes an audio line-in port for playing music from an iPod or CD player, three AA rechargeable batteries, AC adapter, and an audio line-in cable.

Its size? Well, it measures no more than 6 1/2" L x 4" W x 1 1/4" D, being a great accessory for any type of room in your home. The price tag is said to be around 180 bucks!
