The iBookstore editors are leaving aside all the romance and drama books and focus on what's important for a change. If you like food and you like to cook, this selection is for you. They call it "Cookbooks for Every Lifestyle." We call it the best way to make your family and friends happy.

There are five different categories in this selection: Gluten-Free, Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian and More to Explore and they all have over 40 different books to choose from. Prices for these books range between $1.99 (€1.51) and $22.99 (€17.50). Also, remember that these are iBooks so you can always get a sample and go through the first few pages to a chapter and check if you like it.

"Gluten-Free Recipes in 30 minutes" will get your attention first. This book has over 130 quick and easy ways to cook delicious dishes, from Peanut Butter Pancakes to Bourbon-Glazed Pork Chops. You also get a handy flour substitution chart for baking.

When it comes to Paleo, there are 10 iBooks to choose from. You are going to be presented dishes that you didn't even know they fit this category or some family-friendly Paleo Diet recipes for kids. Some may say unprocessed foods give your kids the energy they need, but you can also cook a great paleo Hamburger for yourself.

If you are a vegan, you will be happy to notice you have more books to choose from. "Vegan Cooking for Carnivores," by Roberto Martin looks awesome. Big pictures and large enough text to follow from your iPad are going to tempt you to try a few of the 125 dishes. Martin was invited to cook for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, so you can feel like having a celebrity chef in your kitchen guiding your every step.

Another interesting read is "Vegan Lunch Box Around the World." This iBook will get you over 125 balanced international and regional American menus from Ratatouille to Moroccan and a Japanese Bento Box.

There are quite a few books that offer tips on losing weight. "The Pound a Day Diet" is a program designed to help dieters lose up to five pounds every five days while enjoying their favorite foods. This iBook written by Rocco DiSpirito has pretty high reviews in the iBookstore and the author says he is going to teach you how to eat healthier and cook fast, calorie-calibrated menus.

Check out all the books in this selection and go make yourself something tasty.
