Convirture, a company that strives to help organizations to manage open source virtualization platforms, has announced that the Beta vesion of ConVirt Enterprise Cloud, a tool used for the management of all current and future virtual and cloud infrastructures, is now available for users.

ConVirt Enterprise Cloud has support for a lot of platforms, including KVM, Xen, OpenStack, Amazon EC2 and VMWare.

“As datacenters increasingly deploy a mix of technologies, IT managers are looking for a ‘single pane of glass’ to manage all of them, which is what this version of ConVirt Enterprise Cloud offers.”

“From our perspective, the hypervisor and cloud wars are meaningless. Whether it’s VMware, KVM, Xen and any of the clouds, organizations just want the best tool for the job.” said Arsalan Farooq, founder and CEO of Convirture, in the press release.

A final version of the software will be available in the fourth quarter of 2012, and the pricing will be announced prior to launch.
