First and foremost, you should be aware of the fact that use of this software in a mobile phone may be illegal in some countries. Before downloading and using the following application, I strongly suggest that you check the laws and regulations in your region.

Tagged as spy software, MerrySpy developed by MerrySpy Software Studio is mostly used to control and monitor some Nokia Symbian phones silently. Users will be able to control the phone remotely, by sending specific SMSs containing specific commands. These messages will not show on the phone and will not alert the user of that phone in any way (vibration, backlight, i.e.).

Only by checking out the features of this application, one can definitely say that MerrySpy is a pure spy software. As soon as you manage to install MerrySpy on the phone you want to monitor, you will be able to start spying on it. Here are some of the features that the phone has to offer:

- Record every voice call automatically, then pack and save the most recent recorded call clips in a single enciphered file. - Answer the call from a predefined telephone number silently, then play recorded call clips to the line repeatedly, so that you can listen to the recorded voice calls remotely one by one, over and over again. - Answer the call from a predefined telephone number silently, then keep silent so that you can monitor the sounds surrounding the spy phone. - Make a voice call secretly upon a command from a remote phone. - Forward all SMS messages, receiving and sending out, to a predefined telephone number instantly. - Send call logs to a remote phone. - Send address book to a remote phone. - Notify a predefined telephone number by sending it a SMS message if the SIM card has been changed. - Wipe MerrySpy from the spy phone upon a command from a remote phone. The manual that comes with the software is pretty extensive and includes all the necessary information a user might need to get his application up and running fast and smooth. Unfortunately, MerrySpy is only compatible with a few Nokia handsets (Nokia 3230/Nokia 6260/Nokia 6600/Nokia 6620/Nokia 6630/Nokia 6670/Nokia 6680/Nokia 6681/Nokia 6682/Nokia 7610/Nokia N70/Nokia N72/Nokia N90) running old Symbian 7.0 and 8.0 OS.

Still, those interested in spying their girlfriend's phone can check out the trial version of application, which has some limitations. The Advanced version of MerrySpy doesn't come cheap at all and can be bought for no less than USD 339$.
