Contrexx 1.2 Released

The market of content management systems very often experiences new arrivals. The web-based automatic installer makes the installation process accessible even for non-programmers. For example, the creation of the MySQL database is automatically done and, after the finalization of the complete CMS installation, the user will be able to login to the administration panel and to add content or customize the front-end appearance. Contrexx CMS will also allow you to extend the default functionality through certain modules, like forums, sitemap, image galleries, blogs, podcasting and more. These modules are available in the default CMS installation, but they must be enabled in the administration panel.

The CMS administration menu is logically structured in six parts so that the user could rapidly understand how to control the front end content items and appearance. Every new page is created with the help of a friendly WYSIWYG editor and the administrator can set or change various parameters related to its structure (meta tags, template, publication date and access rights). The website layout can be easily customized in the Layout&Design administration section: new themes can be added or the default ones modified. Comprehensive statistics, network tools, caching mechanisms and many other useful features that help users to improve the website productivity and administration are also provided.

Even if this CMS is simple to use, for those having problems in understanding various functioning mechanisms or content administration features, multiple support alternatives are available: support forum, online documentation (wiki) and a ticket system.
