One of the features of iOS will be delayed by a few weeks

One of the most expected new features of iOS 8 is Continuity. Imagine you have one phone, and no matter if you receive iMessages or regular text messages, everything will be available on your iPad or Mac, too.

Apple users may have thought that the tech giant will release this along with iOS 8, on September 17, but it seems that we will have to wait a few more weeks. It cannot be considered a delay, since Apple did not announce a specific date in the past. Nor did they now, but a label added recently shows that SMS Continuity will only be available in October.

Apple may have taken this decision just because they want to show this along with OS X Yosemite. The new and redesigned operating system for Mac will also bring a number of features to the computers. Apple explained that, with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite, you will be able to connect your iPhone, iPad, and Mac like no other desktop and mobile OS can do.

Handoff is one of the new features that will help users start an email or write something into an app and then take the same task from their computer exactly where they left off. You will also be able to answer your phone calls on a Mac. There's no setup required. As long as you have the devices in range, their OSes will do all the work.
