Unfortunately, there are quite a few gaming accessories out there that have been specifically designed in order to work just with certain gaming platforms (either PCs, Xbox consoles or PS3s), and that's exactly the case with Logitech's G27 and G25 racing wheels, but it seems that connectivity solutions' manufacturer XCM might have come up with a solution to this issue, namely the F-1 Converter.

According to XCM, the adapter has been specifically designed in order to allow users to hook up one of the aforementioned gaming accessories, originally designed to work on PCs and the PS3, to the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim consoles, but also includes a built-in combo attack memory function for fighting games (5 memory buttons that allow users to program up to 20 button combos).

Additionally, the F-1 Converter is fully Plug and Play, supports Rumble features and also enables Rapid Fire/Turbo on wired Xbox 360, Original Xbox and PS3 controllers when connected to any of the Xbox 360/Xbox 360 Slim, PS3/PS3 Slim consoles.

In fact, users are also granted an extensive level of control as far as the aforementioned rapid fire feature is concerned, since they can easily choose between the available firing rates (High Speed, Medium Speed, Off).

It's also interesting to mention that the adapter from XCM supports PS3 SIXAXIS games, analog stick tilt functionality on Xbox 360 controller for the PS3 console, while also supporting the wired Xbox 360 controller, PS3 controller and Original Xbox controller on Xbox 360/Xbox 360 Slim, PS3/PS3 Slim consoles.

Now, although the purposes of the F-1 Converter from XCM is truly a noble one, and we're pretty sure that many gamers might find it extremely interesting, we'll have to point out that it's certainly not a low-priced accessory, as it sells via XCM's usual retail partners for around 84.90 US dollars (or 52.47 pounds sterling).
