The ConnMan project has finally reached a stable version

ConnMan, a project that provides a daemon for managing Internet connections within embedded devices running the Linux operating system and which is designed to be slim and use as few resources as possible, is finally at version 1.0.

ConnMan has been forever in development and it's nice to finally arrive at a stable version, at least this is what the developers are saying.

Highlights of ConnMan 1.0:

· Wi-Fi support with WEP40/WEP128 and WPA/WPA2; · IPv6, DHCPv6 and 6to4 tunnels support; · Advanced routing and DNS configuration are avaialble; · Connection Sharing/Tethering support (USB, Bluetooth and WiFi AP mode); · Bluetooth support (using BlueZ); · GSM, UMTS, CDMA and LTE support (using oFono); · Built-in DNS proxy and intelligent caching.
