Conflict: Desert Storm II: Back to Bagdad is a video game developed by Pivotal Games Ltd. and published by SCi Games Inc. It was created for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony, the original Xbox from Microsoft, the PC and the GameCube; it was released in 2003. It is classed as an action title with shooter elements, played from a third person perspective, with some of its key moments inspired by real history.
Conflict: Desert Storm II: Back to Bagdad is a squad based shooter that largely follows the gameplay mechanics of the first release in the series. You are in charge of a group of soldiers that are sent out to fight against the Iraqi forces that protect tyrant Saddam Hussein. You control a wide array of weapons that can be used to clear out the enemy and more vehicles are available to drive around. The graphics have been updated, with the bleak desert environments now presented in greater detail. The differences are more cosmetic; gameplay is mostly the same as in the previous title.
The game got rather mediocre reviews because it had not done anything to separate itself from the numerous squad based shooters that came out in the same period. If you are looking for a nice action title on which to spend a couple of hours, you can give it a try, but don't expect anything extraordinary from Conflict: Desert Storm II: Back to Bagdad.
GLITCHES
Super Gun mission: Leave level boundary
On the Super Gun mission, drive the tank to the part where there are two transport trucks and a barricade between them. Use the tank to destroy them. Then, get out of the tank and walk over to the one on the left. Have one of the soldiers go to the other side. This works best if you lie on the ground and point towards the building on the other side. Once you get one solider in, switch to him and call another solider there by pointing towards the ground beside the transport truck. If one of the soldiers gets stuck in the transport truck, lie down and crawl to the other side. After you have all of the soldiers on the other side, take one of the soldiers and go all the way to the left or right until you reach an opening of blue space. Walk out and you can now go anywhere in the map. Use the map to navigate where you want to travel. After getting to a place, switch soldiers and you will now be there. Note: Switching within the game boundaries will make you appear on the ground where you were at. There are also some doors that cannot be opened, but using this glitch will allow you to enter. However, you cannot get out. Save the game before going anywhere. Do not worry about getting shot by enemies. They cannot hurt you while you are in the blue space. However, grenades and tanks can still hurt you. Also, there are some tanks that are not activated yet.
