14 DAY TRIAL // Let's have a moment of silence for all the women in the world who are now wiping a bitter tear from the corner of their eye at the news that Johnny Depp has decided to tie the knot for the first time in his life.
Sources close to the couple of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have confirmed to PeopleMagazine that the two actors are, indeed, engaged to be married.
“Of course they couldn't be happier to be engaged and excited to share the rest of their lives together,” the source reveals and adds, “Amber has really taken well to the kids and really enjoys spending time with them. And she's even taken Lily shopping on her own for some bonding time.”
The press went wild at the beginning of the week when Amber was photographed outside a restaurant in LA with a huge ring on that finger of her left hand. She was keeping it covered until she decided to cover her eyes from the camera flashes and someone photographed it.
Depp and Heard first met on the set of the 2011 movie “The Rum Diary” and slowly developed a romantic bond. Depp then announced his split from long-time partner Vanessa Paradis and decided to start a relationship with Amber.
The 27-year-old actress has come out as bi and revealed that she was in a 4-year relationship with Hawaiian artist and photographer Tasya van Ree.
This will be the first time Johnny Depp, 50, is taking a walk to the altar. He and French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis were never married, despite their 14-year-long relationship. However, they do have two children together, Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11.
Though this piece of news comes to confirm earlier speculations, an official statement on the matter was not made by either Depp or Heard, but you can pretty much consider them both off the market.
