Closer, a British tabloid, published just a few days ago a long interview with John Ritchie, known for being Madonna's husband's father. Even this formula for describing John gives some hints about how things work in the Ritchie young couple.
Old Ritchie declares that the couple is not living its best days. Or at least that's how things were during the last months. At the moment, he said, they try hard to solve their problems, and the two kids, Lourdes (9) and Rocco (5), seem to give them a helping hand.
Another good thing for their marital problems is the moving to Los Angeles - London had begun to be too "pushy" for the fragile private life of such public personalities. Followed by tabloids everywhere, Madonna and Guy hardly found enough time for themselves. Thank God, Father-Ritchie is left in London and he can make all the necessary confessions for the tabloids, even if the couple moved out.
A possible explanation for the bad track of their relationship is the successfulness of Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor, while Guy's last movie, Tanked, passed almost unnoticed. Hurt masculine pride for Guy? It might be the case…
Anyway, the two don't have all the time in the world for working out things between them, since Madonna's world tour starts on May 21st, lasting all summer long. Maybe a few months of separation will do?
