Much has been said and speculated about Lindsay Lohan’s drastic weight loss, amidst talk that she got so frail by eating close to nothing and having too many Red Bulls and cigarettes. Despite the fact that Lindsay herself has repeatedly denied she’s suffering from an eating disorder, new reports are now coming in saying that her family wants her back home to watch over her eating habits, as CelebEdge informs.

According to sources close to the Lohan family, Lindsay’s sister Ali and her mother Dina are worried sick about her thin frame and unhealthy lifestyle. In fact, reports have it, they are so concerned that they’re currently pleading with the freckled actress to come back home to Long Island, New York, where they could easily keep an eye on what and when she eats, as well as focus on her health, it has been said.

“That way Dina and Ali can look after her and stop her skipping meals. It would be the best thing for her. We know it’s stress behind the weight loss. For a while, Ali was buying her pizza, fries, chips and all her favorites. But she just sits there, taking a few bites, then picking at the rest. She really isn’t fooling anyone.” the source reveals for the aforementioned e-zine. At the same time, Lindsay is reportedly not too eager to leave Los Angeles, at least not without her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Just recently, after word broke that Lindsay might be deliberately starving herself because Samantha had a total dislike of “fat people,” the actress defended herself in the media saying that the weight loss could be easily explained by exhaustion and too much work. Moreover, Lindsay pointed out at the time, the media always had this habit of reading too much into everything she did, or did not do, and this was certainly the case as well.

“I eat. I had my Big Mac yesterday from McDonald’s. I eat just as much as I always have. I’ve never weighed myself in life. They [the media] have already said everything about me that they can say. And I’ve never really cared then. I’m my own person, and people can say whatever they want. I’m still going to be the person that I am.” Lindsay told Us Magazine during the New York Fashion Week.
