Long-time product visionary, Hasan Kaymak has posted as new HTC tablet concept, which takes heavy design cues from the HTC One M8 smartphone introduced a few days ago.

Last week we had a lot of news coming from the HTC camp. First and foremost, the company launched the anticipated One M8 flagship smartphone with whistles and confetti.

Advancing along, the company’s CEO Peter Chou confirmed in an interview, the company is actually working on a tablet, which is going to be launched at the “appropriate time.”

Anyway, Hasan Kaymak is treating us with an HTC tablet model quite reminiscent of the HTC One M8 smartphone that was just unleashed upon the world. Of course, this is envisioned as a flagship tablet model, as well.

The model has been dubbed the HTC One M8 Tab and gets the full flagship treatment, including the HTC Duo Camera, BoomSound speakers with amplification, BlinkFeed, Zoe and a new HTC Sense, version 6.5.

The specs aren't set in stone, so here’s a possible configuration for the One M8 Tab. It could bundle a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and be 8-9 mm / 0.3 inches thick.

The tablet might as well be the full-front competitor of the rumored Nexus 8.9-inch tablet, boasting the same screen size and a Quad HD resolution. Furthermore, the model can be fitted with 32-128GB of internal storage, microSD, Ultrapixel 4MP camera and LTE.

From the images, the tablet appears to be a bezel-less device, so the superior resolution would fit like a glove.

Hasan Kaymak is also demonstrating a unique multi-tasking feature in a video that might prove superior to what Samsung is offering with its newest GalaxyPRO line of new tablets.

In related news, HTC has been rumored to partner-up with Google in order to take up the manufacturing of the next Nexus 8 / 9 tablet, which is said to arrive with an 8.9-inch screen and high-end specifications. Actually, we might be very well looking at it, in this render.

It’s interesting to note, this is not the only bezel-less HTC tablet render we have seen so far. A while ago the HTC Babel concept was teased, detailing a slate capable of switching between Android and Windows 8 and working in concert with a smart pen too.

Since dual-boot devices seem to be headed for extinction, the current render seems more plausible. HTC bezel-less tablet anyone?
