14 DAY TRIAL // Fans of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” were over their heads when it was announced that everyone's favorite karate-kicking, pizza-enjoying and sewer-dwelling turtles were coming back to the big screen in a remake.
Sure, there was that rumor that they were going to be turned into aliens that nearly made the internet bust into full-riot mode, but thankfully, that crisis has been averted. Now, for some good news.
Some anonymous source posted a photo of what the main villain of the movie, Shredder, is going to look like. The photo consists of three concept art drawings and they look pretty awesome, anyway you look at them.
A combination of aliens, Sauron from “Lord of the Rings” and Iron Man, Shredder looks set to take on all four ninja turtles at once.
The movie is directed by Jonathan Liebersman, the man who also took on the alien invasion in “Battle Los Angeles,” based on a script written by Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec. The movie is billed for release on August 8, 2014.
