Comedian roasts major networks, politicians, and even Obama himself

Conan O’Brien was the headliner and host of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend, held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. His full opening speech is above.

Coco got off to a rather shaky start and perhaps the fact that he came in after President Obama – who delivered a truly hilarious speech – had something to do with it.

However, midway in his speech, O’Brien got his groove back on, and he worked the crowd like a pro, roasting in turn all the major networks, before moving on to politicians, some celebrities, and then to Obama.

Even though he managed to bounce back, I’d still have to say that Obama’s speech was funnier.

You can watch that one in full below, for the sake of comparison, and then drop me a line in the comments section to let me know if you feel the same.
