It has a bunch of lighting modes that most other peripherals lack

Since all peripherals belonging to specific types are the same in terms of core concepts, it often falls to the unusual feature additions to act as source for the name.

Mechanical keyboard maker from China DuckyChannel is illustrating this at Computex 2013, the trade show taking place in Taipei, Taiwan (June 4-8).

The company has revealed the Shine 3 keyboard, which can be backlit in one of many different modes.

The product is just a pre-production version though, so I don't know any specifics, like all color options for the backlight.

It is possible to have more than one color on at any time, and the backlight can behave intelligently if the gallery below shows what I think it shows. Still wondering if the backlight has an ambient light sensor though.

What I do know is that Shine 3 comes with an aluminum tray, in camouflage green (green key caps), or just in the standard black paint job.

Functional upgrades might be revealed later. For now, we still have to wait for pricing and availability details.
