Gaming PCs needn't be too huge, something that Dell fully agrees with. If it didn't, it wouldn't make things like the X51 mini PC.

The device sells under the Alienware gaming brand, just like the ASUS Maximus VI Formula motherboard ships under the ROG brand.

X51 combines the might of a quad-core Intel Haswell fourth-generation CPU with that of a 2GB NVIDIA GTX 670 GPU.

The graphics card isn't the best or latest, and it's not even mandatory, but I doubt the X51 will really qualify as a gaming PC without one, so customers are bound to buy it anyway, or whatever alternative Dell will offer.

Previous-generation Ivy Bridge chips can still be selected if you're low on cash. The starting price of Alienware X51 is of $699 / €534 – 699.
