I've seen my share of wireless mice, but most of them are just that, wireless mice with nothing thrown in to spice things up.

ASUS seems to be of the same opinion that there is room for creativity, since it made the VivoMouse.

It is the “world's first” mouse featuring an integrated multi-touch touchpad.

With support for both Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, it lets owners scroll with two fingers, pinch-to-zoom, use swipe gestures to multitask on PCs, etc.

In fact, the newcomer can just as well be used with projectors, thanks to the thumb control and circular touchpad.

The ASUS VivoMouse has a metallic body and is divided into the top section (the Windows 8 touchpad) and lower section (where the mouse laser sensor is located). The touchpad will respond like the two buttons of a mouse regardless of the mode of use.

Sales will start in Q3 2013, for an unknown price.
