Another day, another solid-state drive. ADATA has just launched one of the increasingly many drives based on 19nm NAND Flash memory.

It is made for thin laptops, ultrabooks included. It may not be 5 mm thin, but it is the next best thing, with 7 mm thickness.

The top read speed is of 530 MB/s while the writing speed can go up to 480 MB/s.

I should mention that the newcomer, called ADATA XPG SX920, is actually a set of three.

The smallest capacity is 128 GB, but there are 256 GB and 512 GB units as well.

Other specs include random 4K performance of 80,000 OPS (write), TRIM, NCQ, SMART support, etc.

ADATA sells, or will sell, the 2.5-inch XPG SX920 with 3-year warranty.
