Microsoft has only released a testing version of Windows 8 till now, but it seems that early adopters are very pleased with the new operating system.

Twenty-four percent of the respondents say the thing they like the most is the support for tablets, phones and desktop computers, while 51 percent reveal that reliability is the operating system’s key element.

In addition, speed is very important for 47 percent of the users, while the security of the new OS pleases 40 percent of them.

“Our research shows that SMEs are looking for ways to maximise their outputs, streamline working processes and support their employees as they adapt to a changing working environment,” Amee Chande, managing director, UK Retail and Direct at Staples, said.

Interestingly, small businesses across the United Kingdom are very keen to use Microsoft’s cloud services, as 12 percent of the respondents confirmed that they are already registered for such a product. 60 percent of them rely on cloud computing for remote workforce, while 31 percent of the users said they need such a product in order to help employees.
