The bridge would send people in Paris bouncing from one side of the Seine to the other

Only recently, an architectural firm made it public news that, should authorities grant it permission, it would very much like to present the people living in Paris, France, with an innovative trampoline bridge.

Apparently, those wishing to get from one side of the Seine to the other would simply have to bounce back and forth on this giant, inflatable structure, which would both ease their passage and keep them entertained.

From an environmental standpoint, one could argue that such an innovative piece of architecture would most likely have a significantly reduced ecologic footprint, at least when compared to your run-off-the-mill concrete-based constructions.

“It appears to us that Paris has the bridges necessary for the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic across its waterways. Our intention is to invite its visitors and inhabitants to engage on a newer and more playful path,” the people behind this project explain.
