Founders of not-for-profit adult website come4.org are attempting to put people's addictions to adult websites to good use, and donate all proceeds to charity.

With adult websites surpassed only by Google and Facebook in combined web traffic, the young guys at come4.org might have stumbled on a working business model.

Come4 accepts amateur footage of every kind, as well as artistic nude pictures, and allows free acceptance to the site, VentureBeat reports. Income will come from ads and sponsored videos from adult brands, as well as crowdfunding.

The site could stir up a lot of controversy, by joining a generally accepted concept with one that is mostly disregarded.

“The tech is well-known. It is the idea that is disruptive,” co-founder Riccardo Zilli says. As the streaming section of the site is not in place just yet, site creators are still gathering donations that would help with purchasing equipment.

“In order to give life to our idea we need to pay our developers to realize a solid platform for the main site and to rent servers that can sustain multiple user, high-quality video streaming,” adult website creators explain on ulilo.

As the technical part is put in place, all content on the site will have a cause attached to it, making you watch the material while you are thinking about those poor, starving orphans.

“What distinguishes our project from others however is that users must link any content that they upload with a certain cause from a selection available on the site,” they say.

The starters of what could be a global movement in how funds are raised for charity estimate that the adult business is currently worth about $100 million, and just one percent of that would help a lot of causes. In reality, their arbitrary estimation is probably off by three zeros.

The Asta Philpot Foundation is the first organization said to benefit from these two guys' efforts. So far, a bit more than $4,000 has been raised for the organization that raises awareness about the rights of the disabled, another topic that would ruin your mood while watching adult content.
