Its stand can fold in, allowing the AiO to lay flat on the table

Hybrid devices are really well looked upon right now, and while the V20 from ECS might not necessarily qualify as one, it can play the role of two devices at once: computer and tablet.

Well, technically, like all all-in-one computers, the ECS V20 can play the role of a monitor as well, so we could say it can act as three different things based on need and situation.

Anyway, the newcomer measures 19.5 inches and has a weight of 3.1 kg / 6.8 lbs.

A dual-core Intel bay Trail-D SoC (system-on-chip) runs everything, a 2.41 GHz chip, while 8 GB of RAM back it up.

Meanwhile, data is stored on a 2.5-inch SATA II HDD, or coming in from two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, or the 3-in-1 card reader.

The computer also boasts Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. As for the LCD, it is a LED-backlit panel with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels (no Full HD here).

The stand can fold close to let the AiO lay like a tablet, or can be adjusted to 12 to 30-degree angles. Or to stick to a wall if you have a standard VESA attachment nearby.

As one might have surmised, touch input is supported. 10-point multitouch to be more specific, complete with gesture support for two hands.

Then again, that last bit comes with every installment of Windows 8.1, which the computer is pre-installed with before leaving for your home. Moreover, the ECS V20 boasts a 720p HD webcam and dual digital microphones.

Finally, to run, the newcomer only needs 65W of power, less than a standard light bulb, which is saying something. It's too bad that ECS did not provide a price along with all the other information it published in the press release or on the product page.
