If popular browsers out there aren't quite your cup of tea and you're looking for something a little bit different but just as fast as the leading apps in this category, there's no doubt that Comodo Dragon is at least worth a shot.

No specifics have been provided, but Comodo Dragon 33 is now available for download for Windows users, providing them with an alternative browsing solution for computers powered by Microsoft's operating system.

Comodo Dragon 33 is mostly aimed at fixing bugs and improving performance, so no new features are available, but users who were running it already should still deploy the new version as soon as possible.

As you know, Comodo Dragon 33 is a browser based on Chromium and although it's not as popular as some other apps on the market, it still has an impressive feature lineup. Its look is very similar to Google Chrome's, while its features include options to organize bookmarks, add new themes and extensions, developer tools, and a download manager.

The browser obviously works on Windows exclusively and comes with support for all versions of the operating system, including Windows XP, which no longer receives updates from Microsoft.

Overall, this is an update that should come in handy to many users, so download Comodo Dragon 33 to see what's new in this version.

Update: Comodo has just provided some new details on this new release, revealing that Dragon 33 comes with Drag & Drop add-on version 2.0 and PrivDog 2.1.0.22, while the entire browser is based on Chromium 33.0.1750.112. Some issues have also been confirmed, including bugs that make the Google page translation service not to work in this version.
