Comodo Dragon has received a new update today, bringing several fixes and a couple of new options to Windows users.

The official changelog included in this release reveals that Comodo Dragon 30 comes with Windows 8.1 improvements, as internal URLs weren’t recognized in older builds.

At the same time, it also points out that Dragon is based on Chromium 30.0.1599.101 and comes with version 1.7.0.12 of the PrivDog extension.

Even though it received improvements aimed at Windows 8.1 users, Comodo Dragon continues to offer support for basically all Windows versions still on the market, so you can install it even if you’re still running the ancient XP, Vista, or 7.

All in all, the application might have what it takes to compete with Firefox and Chrome, but you still need to download Comodo Dragon 30 to try it out for yourself.
