A diner in Chicago is serving a potentially sacrilegious dish, as part of their “burger of the month” promotion. Kuma's Corner Restaurant in Chicago names burgers honoring heavy metal bands.

In October, they have debuted a burger named “Ghost,” and it includes sacramental bread. The usage of the communion wafer has got a lot of people talking, and they are not pleased.

According to Web Pro News, the recipe also includes goat shoulder, cheddar cheese, and a “Red Wine Reduction (the blood of Christ).”

The Avondale neighborhood diner has responded to criticism about their burger on social media by issuing a $1,500 (€1,100) donation to Catholic Charities of the Chicago Archdiocese.

“We love heavy metal. There is a band doing music that we enjoy particularly called Ghost….As with all of our burgers, the Ghost was created to pay homage to the music they’ve created,” they tell the critics.
