C64. Back in '82 it was more than the final frontier: it was THE computer which had THE looks and THE sound. Today it
looks that the SID (sound interface device) on the old computer has not been forgotten at all as modeled simulators of the old piece of gear are still to be found. And this isn't by far everything there is to the old SID...

There are a lot of people who still value what the old tech was doing back then and are simply in love with the sounds it generated. The quadraSID is one software which replicates quite well the specs and results of the old chip, but this wasn't all.

One of the legendary names in the C64 sound history, Torben Hansen, has put his signature on a sound set developed especially for the quadraSID synth. And this set is now out via ProSounds!

Entirely designed by Torben Hansen (aka Metal of Vibrants), this new FX set comprises nu less than 128 FXB and FXP format presets made especially for the quadraSID.

Made of C-64 sounds, including drums, basses, leads, sequences, sound effects, this new release has so far been very well received by the C64-sound lovers.

From the present feedback the sound set has generated from C64-sound enthusiasts it seems like Torben Hansen has once more proved himself worthy of all respect he's shown.

The Hansen-signature VSTi sells for $19.95 for new customers on ProSound while registered customers benefit from the 20% off prices. If you're (still) in love with the early age of computers or are a C64-sound fan, you'll most likely enjoy the most from Torben Hansen's latest work.
