Get ready to blow everything away starting this May

Heavy weapons, big shots and other things for the "big bad guys" will be soon available via the rather peaceful Nintendo DS portable console, since Lexicon Entertainment has announced that Commando: Steel Disaster will be launched in Europe starting the 9th of May.

As for the plot, you play as the heroic Storm who must put an end to an evil organization called Rattlesnake. Of course, you get to do this with a range of heavy weaponry and Lexicon assures us there are plenty of different weapons and pick-ups - each with its own attack method and power. Plus, some guns can be used to find secret items. I'm asking myself if we'll get some magnet-like weapons or some cool things inspired from the Portal hit. We'll see in May.

You will have to shoot, jump, throw and roll into action as you battle through each of the five missions and the two extra hidden mission this game comes with. Each mission has various environments, all culminating in an epic boss fight. Hopefully these are some long missions, since Lost: Via Domus has seven chapters, too, and it feels way too short.

Among the features Commando: Steel Disaster brings to your DS, you'll have slick animations and highly stylizes graphics, the ability to drive all sorts of vehicles and fight against over 20 types of enemies and, as you've already heard, the tough bosses and many more. You will also have 10 different types of weapons as well as a fully destructible terrain, everything in a "real" weather.

So the action is getting ready to begin on your Nintendo DS console starting the 9th of May this year and you will definitely love this game. Unfortunately, there is no word about the control methods, possible multiplayer options or price. But we'll know everything when the time will come.
