The development team at Victory Games is delivering a new video for its upcoming Command & Conquer reboot, which focuses on information about the factions that players will be able to choose from and the various units they can use.

Tim Morten, the development director, explains how the 10-year gap in the history of the series has affected the main powers of the game world.

The team states, "fans of the series will be happy to see several recognisable factions return in the Global Liberation Army, the Asian Pacific Alliance (the broader version of the Chinese faction) and the US faction who have been substituted for the European Union."

The new Command & Conquer is created using the new Frostbite 3 engine and will deliver both single-player scenarios, which will be built around a core story, and Player versus Player matches.

The real-time strategy experience will be free-to-play and is at the moment in alpha stage.
