I know you're just dying to play the new Command & Conquer, but as you know, you will have to wait until March of next year. It will come out on PCs and most surprisingly, on the Xbox 360.

What will
the third installment in the Command & Conquer series bring new, besides a new story and improved graphics, is another faction. So far, nobody knows anything about this new faction, but all will be revealed in December's issue of Games For Windows magazine, at least this is what FiringSquad claims.

I'm sure that all of you would like to know who will be featured in C&C 3 alongside the regulars, GDI and NOD. Maybe it will be some sort of an alien faction, maybe a new faction to help the GDI in their fight against the NOD, we can only speculate. Apparently, you will be able to play this mysterious faction only after you've completed both the GDI and NOD campaigns.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is set in the year 2047, and continues the everlasting conflict between the GDI and the NOD. Earth has suffered a severe Tiberium infestation and for this reason, it has been divided into three areas. About 30% of the Earth's surface has been declared as being too hazardous for sustaining human life-"red zones", 50 of Earth's surface are "yellow zones" and the rest are "blue zones" which are just perfect for a human refuge. This ecosystem downfall is the perfect opportunity for a NOD invasion, and the boys in red have jumped on the occasion. Will GDI manage?
