Fifth season will air next spring, but look at how much fun the cast had on the last one

Season 4 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” might have brought at least a handful of unexpected surprises (and because we’re talking a series based on George R.R. Martin’s novels, that actually reads as “unexpected deaths”), but at least the cast had a lot of fun whilst shooting for it.

“Game of Thrones” actors and producers descended upon Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego, and in between revealing new details about the upcoming season, they also treated fans to a brand new look behind the scenes on the production of the one that wrapped up just recently.

Even upset fans who are still moaning online about certain things that happened or didn’t happen on season 4 will manage to break a smile by watching it, because it features several, very funny scenes, including a long shot of Jamie and Tyrion Lannister dancing down the castle aisle, to general applause and several scenes of props malfunctioning.

Though no one imagined that shooting for “Game of Thrones” is even half as grim and painful as the show looks like on the small screen, it’s surprising to see all these characters, some of which are quite ruthless on the show, swear when they get their lines mixed up and generally act like kids at a party.

Here’s one more reason to love everything about “Game of Thrones.” Enjoy!
