14 DAY TRIAL // Even though cameras are banned at all screenings at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. could not prevent the leak of various photos from the teaser trailer for “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” shown hours ago in Hall H at the 2014 edition of the convention.
So, while we might still have to wait a few more months for the video to be released officially, at least now we can have a glimpse at it and better understand what all the fuss is about.

The short teaser, which has been dubbed anything from “epic” to “insane” and “mind-blowing” on social media, only included a couple of shots of the film’s leading men, Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, and a couple of the logo that was actually revealed at last year’s edition of Comic-Con.
Batman is wearing an armor suit, similar to the one in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. Fans already know that this Batman is older than previous film incarnations, returning to Gotham to fight crime even though no one seems to want him here.
He goes and lights up the Bat Signal, but Superman is shown floating right in the middle of it. The two seem to engage in a brief staring contest, Batman with his light blue eyes and Superman with his red peepers, before the screen fades back to black.
Considering that photos from the teaser have already leaked, it might not be that unrealistic to hope for a low-quality video of it to emerge as well. If it doesn’t, we’ll just have to wait for the studio version.
“Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is directed by Zack Snyder and is scheduled for theatrical release in May 2016.
