With Comic-Con debuting today, there's bound to be a plethora of quality material for geeks and comic fans, but also something for the film aficionados, since comic book characters have made a very successful transition to the big screen in the last years.

During the Preview Night, Marvel has released for your viewing pleasure a concept art poster for its upcoming film “Ant-Man” starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. The image comes via Entertainment Weekly and is created by Andy Park, who works for Marvel's in-house visual development team.

As you can see from the detailed image, the Ant-Man costume takes center stage as ghostly outlines of Paul Rudd and Micheal Douglas are drawn in the background, in a way similar to the '80s movie posters. This will surely be pleasing for nostalgic fans but it's also a nice presentation for the movie.

Though the poster looks like a million dollars, the production process for the movie isn't looking as good, since director Edgar Wright, who had been attached to the project for some time, abruptly departed the film, presumably over creative differences with the studio. Now Marvel has signed on Peyton Reed as director and Adam McKay to rewrite the script.
