Since Comic-Con 2014 is in full swing, today we have an abundance of comic-related news and some of them touch upon movie projects that you've been dying to hear about.

Benedict Cumberbatch, everyone's sweetheart since he's appeared in the hit series “Sherlock,” has seen his name attached to a very important project from Marvel, the story of the very magic and very mystic Dr. Strange, but we find out from Screenrant that during Comic-Con 2014, the actor denied any involvement in the project.

Cumberbatch is present at the event because of his appearance in films like “The hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” as well as for lending his voice to a character in the animation “Penguins of Madagascar.”

Fans went over the moon when it was rumored Cumberbatch could play Doctor Strange some months ago, but Benedict has sad news for them. “As far as I’m aware, even if that was the case, it couldn’t work out because I’m doing a little play called ‘Hamlet’ in London. So I don’t think I could even if that was in the cards,” he says.

The British actor does leave some room for interpretation when he says, “It sounds like a fantastic project. It’s a shame if I miss out, but who knows?”
