As reported yesterday, the sequel to “Man of Steel” will bring together for the first time on the big screen Superman and Batman. The announcement was made at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego over the weekend and, now, you can see it in full above.

That’s Zack Snyder who’s talking at the beginning of the video, confirming that he’s on board for the Superman sequel.

He’s also teasing a lot about the kind of clues he can offer fans as regards the plot, and eventually asks Henry Lennix on stage to lend him a helping hand.

Lennix reads out lines from Frank Miller’s comic book “The Dark Knight Returns,” in which Batman fights and defeats Superman.

As audience members were still trying to put two and two together, the new logo for the film, combining the two superheroes’ logos, was shown on screen, driving the message home.

And all hell broke loose afterwards.
