14 DAY TRIAL // “Oblivion” came out in spring this year but, even so, it will still be featured at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. In fact, it just got a brand new, special image for the event, which you can see in full above.
WeAreMovieGeeks notes that, with the Blu-ray and DVD release of the film set for August 6, the movie studio wants to remind fans what was so great about the movie: the visuals.
The Comic-Con pic features the San Diego Convention center in ruins, and was created by Andree Wallin, who was also the concept illustrator for the film.
In other words, it should be a hit with geeks and movie buffs present at the convention.
“Specially commissioned for this year’s convention, the image will be available as limited edition tote bags and handed out daily at the Geek magazine booth (#4014) with a special code word available via Geek magazine’s Twitter account,” the e-zine says.
So, if you’re at Comic-Con this year, go grab your own “Oblivion” pic.
