“X-Men: Days of Future Past,” the sequel to “X-Men: First Class,” was present at Comic-Con 2013. Most of the stars on board – and there are plenty of them, trust me! – were in San Diego for the event, including Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.
Fans know that they both play Magneto: McKellen the older version of the villain in the first movies, Fassbender the younger one in the aforementioned “First Class.”
Since they’re both in “Days of Future Past,” they came at Comic-Con and offered fans a healthy laugh when McKellen, who is openly gay, made a pass at Fassbender, Vulture reports.
“I just want to say it’s great to be back in California. I feel safe here now that you’ve gotten rid of Proposition 8. I’m looking for a husband,” he told the crowd, looking at Fassbender.
“It’s great to meet you, Michael,” he “purred.”
I can only imagine Fassbender smiled his shark-y smile and totally played along.
