Comedian Jeff Ross managed to ruffle a lot of feathers at the recent taping for “Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne,” when he cracked a joke about the Aurora shootings. It won't be included in the final program.

One of the producers on the program confirms for TMZ that the joke directed at Seth Green and making light of the shooting that cost the lives of 12 and injured another 58, will be cut.

“Seth, congratulations. This is actually a great night for you... you haven’t gotten this much attention since you shot all those people in Aurora... I’m kidding. You are not like James Holmes. At least he did something in a movie theater that people remember!” Ross said.

He also showed up at the event dressed as the late Joe Paterno, with two shirtless boys, one on each arm.

Asked about the Aurora jab by NBC News, Ross admitted that it was a bit out of line but added, “That is what Roasts are about.”
