BitFenix only joined the market for gaming-oriented PC cases some time ago, and it seems that there are now several new enclosure models based on the one that came out back in August.

The chassis that BitFenix brought forth in August goes by the name of Colossus and is meant for gamers and enthusiasts.

Now, the same outfit has created new iterations of the same product, three with side windows (Colossus Window) and another one with green LED lighting (Colossus Venom).

As one might guess, they share most of the feature set, though Colossus Venom is the only one that sports a fan controller and the possibility to switch the color of the lights (between green and red).

They have an exposed 5.25-inch drive bay, plus support for up to seven 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives.

BitFenix also threw in eSATA, audio and USB 2.0 ports and implemented a tool-free construction for easy installation of PCI cards and the storage drives themselves.

Other specifications include a 230mm front fan, four pre-drilled watercooling holes, a size of 245 x 558 x 582 mm and, in the case of Venom, two USB 3.0 connectors.

"After releasing Colossus, BitFenix fans from around the world offered their own personal suggestions on some new and interesting modifications for the full tower, and Colossus Venom and Colossus Window are the results of that feedback," says David Jarlestedt, BitFenix Product Manager.

"With Colossus Venom and Colossus Window, we hope to appeal to an even broader number of users by offering a wider selection of chassis based on a proven design," he added.

As a final advantage, the BitFenix Colossus Venom Edition features the BitFenix S3 storage compartment, as well as the BitFenix SoftTouch coating.

The Colossus Window enclosures sell for 139-149 Euro, while the Venom has a price of 159-169 Euro. They should show up in stores shortly if they haven't already.
