The color of a Bangkok cab indicates its fare, its age and whether or not it has air conditioning. It can also reveal if they are company taxis, personal taxis or rental company taxis.
You can pick any color you like as the city’s streets are full of taxis, but the yellow-green ones are generally considered to be better, because they are owned and driven by the owners themselves.
