Nvidia has just launched the GTX 650 video cards last week, but the GK107 GPU has actually been on the market for quite some time now. It has been powering the GT 640 video cards using DDR3 memory, but in the GTX 650 implementation it will use GDDR5 chips.

Most GeForce GTX 650 video cards on the market are using the GK107-450 GPU, but Colorful’s iGame series are powered by the GK107-455 GPU that reportedly is a more overclocking friendly set of GK107 chips.

There are two versions of GeForce GTX 650 video cards in Colorful’s lineup and one is the black-themed one we reported on here and here while the Ares X has a white theme, but both cards come with a special overclocking button.
