Gov. John Hickenlooper maintains fracking fluid poses no threats to public health

This past Tuesday, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper went public with the news that he occasionally liked to indulge in one or two sips of fracking fluid.

As he explained, not only is fracking fluid not at all unpleasant to drink, it is also quite tasty, simply because it is made using ingredients provided by the food industry, Latinos Post reports.

“You can drink it. We did drink it around the table, almost ritual-like in a funny way. It was a demonstration,” Governor John Hickenlooper claims.

Needless to say, the governor's confessing that drinking fracking fluid does nothing to harm one's health was his way of saying that environmentalists who keep going on and on about how this industry harms the natural world pretty much have no idea what they are talking about.

“It was a demonstration. They've invested millions of dollars in what is a benign fluid in every sense,” the governor went on to argue.
